there is a hose that runs from the resevoir down the back side of the engine. it is connected to the frame periodically then turns into a metal hose? i'm not sure what its called. This hose then runs over the subframe and connects just inside the wheel well on the drivers side to the steering column connected to the subframe. did you work on the car resently? mine was leaking on the drviers side near the back of the tranny where the banjo bolt connects and when we put my clutch in we didn't put a washer on each side of the banjo bolt which caused the leak. I would check that whole line, when mine was leaking is was pissing fluid everywhere.

there are two washers on the bolt. little cooper things if there isn't one on each side when you put the banjo bolt through the line to thread it into the steering rack then it will leak fluid like no tomorrow. it gets on the subframe and looks like its coming out of everywhere. the washer might not being missing just double stacked on the same side.
my brother put the washers together when we disconnected it so we didn't lose them and forgot to separate them when we connected the bolt again.
i would check the whole line to be sure but if you take off the driver side tire and look throught the opening by the axle the bolt is right there and mine was dripping fluid off of it so you'll no right away if that is the problem.

how long have you had the car? is the clutch new?

go to evoscan and download the manual for the evo 9. part 37 is the power steering section. it has diagrams of the lines and where they connect. if your not familar with the subframe or under the car it might be difficult to find without the diagram. the feed line and return lines are right there connected to the steering column. check all the lines then.
i'm not sure what else will leak ps fluid. rack and pinion? i'm not sure.

The one behind the engine connects to the hard line that is attached to the sub frame. It is below the alternator. Just follow it from the pump and you will find it. Probably a loose clamp.

Yeah just follow those hoses and your leak should be somewhere around there at the connection or like the above poster said where the rubber and hard line connect. its hard to see because of the subframe but you can get fingers up there and feel around and from the top you can follow it most of the way.

Possibly behind the pressure hose on the return line. Its kind of hard to see in this photo, but there is a clamp there where the hardline goes into the soft line. I've seen them leak there plenty. It could possibly be the area you pointed out as well. Like the previous poster said, just follow all the lines. its a pain because its all tucked up on top of the sub frame but you can get to it.

So guys that's the problem, looks like some sort of hard line? Can I fix this or I need to take to a shop?

Its hard to see exactly where thats at from the video. More than likely you will need to drop the subframe to get to whatever line that is thats busted. Not a big deal if you know what your doing, but a shop will charge you alot of money for that. Fund someone local that will help you out with it. At least to let u know exactly what line it is u need to replace.

looks like the return hose. If you order a new return hose it should include that hard line, or maybe you can order that part separatly. If the hose is ok and its just leaking through the fitting, you may be able to get away with new crush washers for it. I cant remember if that line has a banjo bolt or not on it though.
