Random starting troubles and need some advice

So some times when I go to start my 03 evo 8 the car will start run for a few seconds then shut off. Turn the key and it cranks but wont run. Some times all I have to do is remove the e-brake and it'll start sometimes I have to pull the key out and flip it and it will start so times it just takes a while. I don't know if these things are actually "fixing" the problems or not though. I have noticed some times the Immobilizer flashing but only rare occasions. The car does have a Turbo timer on it that I am going to remove to make sure that isn't the cause of the issues too, but I am just posting to see if anyone has any other suggestions on what to try.

I have these random starting problems too. So it's most likely the immbolizer going bad?
