Hey everyone,

I noticed a few days ago a very light whistle that is usually heard during idle. When I rev it or drive it the noise seems to disappear. I'm thinking I have a boost leak somewhere, but I am not too sure yet. I checked all the hoses and nothing seems to be loose or cracked? Perhaps someone else has had a similar problem.

Do you have any upgraded or stiffer motor mounts?

 

I do have a Blox front engine mount, but I have never noticed this noise before...

 

Maybe be a pulley. I would put gloves on and push down on the valve cover hard to try and take some vibration out. Also try pushing the the motor toward the firewall and pulling it towards the bumper. That way if it stops you know something of just loose.

Mine squeak was in my front bumper when I pulled on the bumper it stopped.

 

Sounds like a vibration problem. I have all sorts of them ever since upgraded mounts

 

something is loose enough where it is metal on metal rubbing, thru Harmonics. start checking everything lol, cause thats what its gunna take.
