well the other option is take it off and leave it off, or buy an aftermarket one that is bolt-on. There isn't much skill involved unless you decide to modify the stock one yourself...

I have a JDM. Got lucky. I went to work and when i got off i found a ticket on my car. Apparently someone hit my parked car on my rear bumper and he called the police on himself. He hit my bumper so badly that I had to get it completely replaced. I used this as my opportunity to get my JDM rear bumper on the insurance's dime. I went with driveline and purchased the demonwerkz crash beam. It fit perfectly

How long did it take for your crash beam to come in? I order one from assaulttech a month and half ago and i still haven't got it yet?

Thanks

Ordered mine from Driveline. Received it here with the JDM rear bumper in Hawaii in about 7-10 days. I would hit up assaulttech and ask. Most of the people i know here in Hawaii received theirs in month or less. And shipping ANYTHING here takes longer than it does on the mainland.

JDM rear bumper is going to be the first mod I do on my Evo IX if it doesn't already have one on it. They are just too sexy not to do.

I was actually really looking into this as well. Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't this specifically come in WW color only..?

If one already has a JDM VIII car with a JDM VIII bumper does one still need to purchase all/some of the related install items such as tow hook cover, license plate bracket, support bracket and etc. in order to properly install a JDM IX rear, or is it just the bumper cover itself that will need to be changed? Thanks!
