I'm trying to remove this bracket as it's just in my way. I believe this is the bracket that holds the stock intake box as well as a few cables and vacuum lines. I have removed all the bolts and can wiggle it but it's still stuck on there. It wiggles around whatever that rubber piece was so I decided to remove the rubber piece, hoping there was another bolt under it. Nothing. I saw some Evos that had this removed already but how do you get this bracket out?

 

should be simple doode lol i just removed the 10mm bolts i think there were like 3 or 4 an the pop rivet and it pulled right off.

 

4 bolts all
10 mm 3 on top and 1 on the side where your boost solenoid is at and it comes off

 

I removed all the bolts already and it wiggles around this thing I circled. I don't know if it's a clip or something but it's not a bolt. It was a rubber piece that I cut out in hopes there's a bolt under there but there isn't.

 

i just bought that bracket a month ago. it cost me $50.00 and some change from ball mitsubishi here in san diego. i know i can get that cheaper somewhere else but i needed it asap.....

 

if you dont plan on using it again, i would just try to pry the thing off with a bar.
