Power steering leak Evo 8

My power steering started leaking today. Its leaking where the bolt/nut on top of the pump secures the pressure line. Are they copper washers under there? Loos to be leaking at the very bottom of stud?

you're in luck... I just dealt with this problem 5 months ago...

it's an O-ring, but mitsu doesn't sell the O-ring on it's own. (itsnot even in the parts system)

AND any O-rings you can get at the hardware stores that are the circumference that the origional is, is too thick to be used...

So, I purchased this kit from harbor freight.

O-ring Kit Harbor Freight

And stretched some of the smaller O-rings from the kit over the pipe till it just fit in without pinching.. 4 months, and 2 cross country drive's later, and no leak.

Really? Wow. I looked at it before work and it looks like a copper washer that mounts to the bottom of the nut/stud to the top of the PS pump. Leaks pretty bad.

Edit. I can see it now it is a copper washer.

NEVERMIND.... I was wrong... I am talking from the resevoir to the PS pump... You mentioned it clearly that it was the pressure line... you are correct, it's a crush washer.
