because at the time i bought it my car was stock- needed to replace my leaking endcap stock rad- plus i know plenty of fast evos that run them without issue.

My car with a full stock radiator runs at 180-200 around town, and 190-210 on track. A half rad running at 220-230 seems normal to me. Put a full radiator back in it...

Yeah I'm thinking of just throwing in a full size koyo rad and being done with it.

A fully open tstat is a fully open tstat. If you are overheating then you need to look elsewhere to remedy the problem. Unless the tstat isnt fully opening, in which case it needs to be replaced.

Go back to a full radiator and don't look back.
