120 MPH, Oil light flash.

So I took the evo for a workout today, did a pull from 80 in 5th gear and once reaching 120mph, putting in in neutral I noticed my oil light flashes for a mere second and went off. Did not happened again. Any thought?

I have found similar threads, however most people have the problem when idle.

06 Evo9, Intake, tune and a testpipe - otherwise all stock.

Check all things oil related. Change your oil switch if everything else is where its supposed to be. If this doesnt make sense-- buy a Honda because at least it wont cost you as much if the light flickers at 60mph. 120 in a 70 is a great way to make new friends behind bars BTW-- thats usually a ticket directly to jail. Last dont post about breaking the law.

So you decided to put the car in neutral going 120 mph? Wow.

He could have done this at a circuit track. Not likely by the wording of his post, but you never know

Thanks, in process of doing that. This was done on a closed track right after a tune.

Sorry for the confusion, but I did not put the car in neutral while at 120.

It was done once the car slowed down.

Coming out of gear into neutral at around 55mph, right after the pull. I am not sure if it has flicked before, this is the first time I have caught it.

The car is sitting in the garage and wont be driven until this is resolved.

Sorry for the lack of information, perhaps I should have structured my post better.
