heres the most positive way to end this thread:

we finished tuning it last night and it made a very healthy 629whp (620 with max smoothing) at 32psi across the board.

for the full thread and comparison charts go here https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...sc-s3-e85.html

went from not being able to even start to making 600whp+ lol.

Awesome ending. Glad you got it fixed Tom. Is this the same car that the shop misdiagnosed?

This car will trap easily trap 138mph based on those results. When is it going down the strip?

i wouldn't say they misdiagnosed it. they just told him worst case scenario type deals before digging into it more. it is the same car though yes. i had Steve remove that review because i felt it was unfair to that shop, and honestly they did everything by the book any shop would do given the vehicle in those conditions and circumstances.

I dont think 138.. he cant drive like you man. not everyone can squeeze every umff of mph out of a car like you can.

I think it will go between 133-136. dont get me wrong.. steve can shift.. hes faster then me by a lot, but i don't think its going 138.

it went 130 at 540-550whp

Kudos to you anyhow. Great job on going the extra mile for him and actually figuring it out and helping him.

Yes the trigger plate rotated due to the crank key not there. If you read the thread it explains it all.

The car actually did trap 137.94 as well with the vd graph above on the fp black.

Now it goes almost 144 with the 6466 and same engine @ 700WHP (About 3300lb race weight)

This is the first engine I've ever built. Id say I did a pretty good job for the first one. Now I've got about 30 under my belt.

Engine has about 12K on it now. Has about a hundred track passes, and probably a few thousand pulls.
