I had this problem since I started running meth. Car was sitting down for about 5 months drove it here and there once in a while. But at WOT the car sounds like it was 2 stepping. I just changed the plugs and I also had a p0340 code Cam position sensor. Any other suggestions to do ?! I need to feel boost again !

 

Did you get it retuned?

 

If u got a non aquamist meth kit your Meth is siphoning and probably filled cylinders during downtime.
Spark plugs didn't help...maybe some sea foam and like suggested a retune.

 

Yeah the car was tuned when I bought it. Didn't get it retuned since then tho. The meth kit is Aquamist btw. Someone told me to reflash the computer as well

 

Any help ? My check engine light came back on. I had cleared the cam position sensor code (p0430) would this cause the car to break up during WOT ?

 

When i went and got my car tuned. There was a white evo in front of me on the dyno, and when they would run it it wouldnt go above 6200 then sounded like rev limiter and check engine light was also on. The builder said replace cam sensot and supposedly it fixed it. Just my 2¢

 

Well I have the same Its prob spark blow out. Try lowering the gap on your plugs a bit. I went down to .18 and it helped a whole lot but I still get it sometimes. So I went with a cop cdi setup while I'm putting a clutch in it. Lower the gap and check you coil resistance coil may be going bad. And retune.

 

I replaced the plugs I gapped them at .25 but its still happening ill shorten the gap of the plugs today and see how it feels. Car was running fine until I started beating on it with the meth. I was wondering if something in the meth system triggered something to go wrong.

The camshaft position sensor orchestrates the timing of the car in conjunction its relay messaging back from the ecu. If this occurs once again under normal driving or hard driving change the sensor.

You still havent given the car a tune that can trigger the issue being that the computer is not able to compensate the tuning since its taking towards the meth. So definitely get it tuned and btw when the last time have you changed your plugs and gapped them properly?

 

.25 is way too big of a gap especially if you live anywhere it is cold ambient air temps this time of year
