got into an accident
my recommendation: take the insurance money, and then jump on the classifieds for parts right away. hell, you could probably find someone selling a mint bumper in the same color as yours for like $200 (or less).
then use the money that's left over on hookers and blow
then use the money that's left over on hookers and blow
hookers and blow > buying a bumper that you already have
edit: i actually punched a whole in my front bumper (of my first car) from a trailer hitch, and the body shop was actually able to melt the piece back into my bumper. after it was done, you couldn't even tell that there was any damage to my front bumper (despite having a chunk punched out).

My oem one with the numbers matching vin is the one on the car, hopefully they can repaint it since the wear on it looks like its from the accident, but now that i think about it my front bumper needs to be painted its off a bit should i give them my spare bumper and use the rest of the money to repaint the front

your bumper doesn't even have enough damage to be worth replacing. any deep cuts in the plastic of the bumper can be filled and sanded so that it's smooth again. you'll just need a reflector, and something done about the rear 1/4 panel. the part of your bumper where it sticks out a little (where it meets the panel) could just be heated up and pushed back into place - just make sure the body shop is confident that they can make it look like new again. if you've got any friends that are motorheads - ask them if they know of any legit body shops, because shops like MAACO usually aren't the greatest.

whenever you get into an accident, insurance writes you a check based on how much money in damage they believe was done. so it really doesn't matter what you do with the money. they don't force you to buy a new bumper - they just give you a check.

I've done autobody for 6 years. It's not bad, it's just cosmetic. You're fine. It will be expensive though..
You need to get the video tape from the gas station. They should be able to email you a copy. Get this right away, in case you have to take the beezy to small claims court.

A kid at a gas station left his car in neutral (it was an automatic, he was high...I was yelling a lot) and hit my car right where yours got hit. Mine was ten times worse. Rear bumper smashed, quarter bent to crap, truck compartment was even crush in a little and my tire went flat. A week or so later it was all fixed and didn't even show up on carfax when my brother sold the car.
You will be fine and the car will be fine

You said you drove in between the pumps. For example: if the normal flow of traffic through the pumps was north/south, do you mean that you drove through them east/west? The way I read it was like if you drove through some empty parking spaces at walmart to get to the next lane quicker. If that's what you did, you were asking to get hit.
well now the cars pulling to the right the wheels not wobbling idk with this car, its going up for sale nothing but a problem..
