dude.. you shouldn't even own a car if you're just going to give up like that... your wobbling (or whatever) has nothing to do with frame damage and is completely repairable. PLUS, if your car IS doing this, then you could get even more money from insurance if its true.

 

just put it on an alignment rack and check the alignment. If the wheel was hit, MAYBE there is some bent suspension component. Get the adjuster to come take a look or have a shop inspect it, give you an estimate to fix everything and forward that to the insurance.

Don't give up man, you might be in for a lot of cash. Also get the police statement and statements from the witnesses also as someone mentioned before, the tape from the gas station will be important in the event you need more proof or what not.

 

That is really not that much damage. I would guess that your car pulling to the right has nothing to do with the accident. That looks like relatively minor cosmetic damage. Good luck winning the insurance claim!

 

just went to a body shop i told them the car was pulling and they said they cant give me a quote until they look at it, the accident report wont be signed until tomorrow even though the police said it would be ready in 48 hours (morons). This is ridiculous im so bummed out because my car was just in the shop for a month and now its going away again, this is ridiculous.. hopefully the cars unrepairable so i can total it a buy a new sti like i should have from the getgo

 

My brother was lookin for an STI and the dealership didn't have one on the lot but they had one IN THE SHOP!
He let us look it over and went on to stupidly say that car was always down there in the shop getting something fixed.
He bought a Jeep.

But if you are willing to give up that easy just sell it to someone who will take care of it and appreciate it

 

i take care of my car like you couldent believe, people think im crazy on how many times i clean the car, it goes in the garage every night. Im just a firm believer of once these cars are hit they dont drive the same anymore. the wheel looks fine in the sideview mirror, my friends said it looked good its not wobbling, so wtF? i dont understand whats wrong i used to be able to take my hands off the wheel and stare at my passenger for like 30 seconds now i cant do it for 10..

 

Have you asked for a tape at the gas stop? Give the owner 40-50 bucks and just record it with your iphone.

better yet, get a civic. all of the problems you're having with your car are associated with your lack of tolerance and having any legit shops. i have NEVER had a car in a shop for more than a week - and that was because i was having body damage fixed and half of the car repainted.

edit: if a shop took more than 1 week on my car, i would show up with a flat bed and bring it elsewhere. and by the way, you PROBABLY have a bent wheel - hence the pulling to the side

 

i am 18 years old actually, i just dont believe all this bs needs to happen to me, i should be able to drive my car and enjoy it not have some a-hole back up into me while im trying to get gas. just overall the stuff that has happened so far with owning this car has been ridiculous. I went through the same thing

When i was 16 i got an 08 gti brand new, got hit when i was 18 after i spent all this money on it. I thought why me, with some love and insurance it was perfect again.

A few month later I totaled it and thought I'll just get a slower car, bought an 04 GLI and it was too slow.

So I bought an EVO 8 a few months back (20 now) and on the way back from buying it, 5th gear grinds. FML, then I do a pull a week later (100% stock) clutch is slipping lol

**** happens, you bought a tuner car, things will happen that are not fair, 2 weeks ago someone hit my headlight and bent my fender.

If you wanted something with zero issues buy a RAV4 or something, nothing exciting ever happens with that lol

 

Dude **** happens. I'd trade your minor problem that are occurring in your life over the bull**** I had to go through to get my car back on the road. I didn't drive my car for over a year because some ******* ripped me off and stole money and an engine from me. You got a small dent in your quarter panel and you probably got hit on the wheel/rim. I didn't see any damage to the wheel in the pics, but it doesn't mean he didn't make contact there.. They will fix it dude, go take your car in for a "free" estimate. You will get a quote. Then someones insurance company will write you a check for not enough money. You will then take the car down to the body shop and wash your hands clean of it until you get it back. The body shop will then battle with the insurance company to have them supplement the correct amount of money so your car will be fixed properly..

FYI: You can buy a JDM rear bumper and keep your bumper you have. Sell the bumper for cheap and make some money.

My honda just got hit twice. I am being paid 2 grand from the insurance company. My car is worth 4780 blue book.. I only have a scratch in my rear bumper and I have a dent in my fender which I'm going to replace for 80 bucks.

Stop being ignorant on the subject and ask questions. When you start doing **** with emotional actions or responses you're going to get yourself nowhere fast. I bet you'll lose way more money on your car if you have a loan "selling it" (unless daddy warbucks helped or paid off the car for you) than having it fixed for "free".

My main advice for a body shop is to have one that has the computer to mix/blend paint for you. This will allow for the most accurate color matching as possible. There are very few painters in the world who can blend a car and have the color match be unnoticeable.

 

idk i feel like if i bought a brand new car i would have avoided spending 3 grand on the car and i would have a better experience, im always listening for noises wondering if things are broken, whats this whats that etc. etc you know what im saying. I feel like im stuck now and dont know what to do at this point i know i sound like im complaining this and that but im very picky and like my stuff the way i want it. The sad part is i have the fastest car out of all my friends and im not an idiot i dont drive stupid, im responsible.

i just hope there is no damage to the structure of the car where it will not drive straight again. im more angry about that then the hit itself
