That low speed 'tap' could in no way have bent or tweaked your subframe. I doubt from the looks it even damaged your inner fenderwell liner. Only way I could imagine a possible cause is that the bump from the other vehicle may have moved slightly one of your rear bolts that adjust toe, just ever so much. Maybe if they previsously werent torqued down all the way and the bump from a large vehicle could have bumped them a bit-- but that is a stretch.

--- That is the only way I can see that minor of an accident tweak your alignment, considering it doesnt look like your wheel got bent. It may also very well just be a coincidence. Try swapping your front tires left to right and see if it still pulls the same.

Are you retarded? (yes). I used it to clean up the scratches because i knew my car was getting painted in that area. My cars paint is great for the age considering that I bought it used, in fact its probably one of the cleanest 03s you will see around. Your acting as if i clean my car with carb cleaner every weekend, you sound absolutely retarded and i bet you my paint is as clean if not cleaner than yours, the time and effort I put into my car shows and i get nothing but compliments on my car and people asking what products I use. I wish there werent any rules on this board so i can roast your daffy duck looking a**, I can go on and on about how stupid, pointless, and irrelevant your pathetic post on my thread really is. You also probably hate on civics because you probably got blown away by an all motor civic with a 7 year old driving it so now you automatically associate civics with younger kids.

update: cars alignment was fixed, apparently one of the front tie rods was (in) or (out) somehow, im pretty sure they said in. i dont see how the hit from the rear would do that but the guy at the shop said it could have jumped out. He said the car is back to driving straight, and now im waiting for the paint and final pick-up of my car.

I got hit last march by a girl texting and driving. I was at a dead stop and she hit the car behind me at about 50mph throwing that car into on coming traffic, then she hit me. anyway, it hit hard enough to break all the hangers on my exhaust and break the bolts on the down pipe to test pipe. I thought the frame was toast from that impact. turns out that didnt bend it, just a new bumper, trunk lid, and wheel liner is all that it took. took it to my body guy talked to the insurance kept a clean title and all .so you getting rear ended with minor damage like that there is no way the frame was damaged. new bumper, maybe some fender work and you're set.

Ha, wrecked my quarter panel worse than this. My bet is that the quarter panel will need to be replaced. BONDO will ruin it. It most likely wont get reported to carfax so title will stay clean. No structural damage at all. What you will dislike is that when they install the new panel and color match it will never be the same. The color will always be a little off if they are good painters. If they are bad then it will be very distinguishable. Sorry bud, get a new Evo 8 while you can.

they are very good from their reputation, but i would not sell my car because of a fender bender and if i had to get another car i wouldent buy another 03 or even used car, your making it seem worse than what it really is lol

I know that feel, I got T-boned at an intersection during the summer. Worst experience ever, missed the car being totaled by $3,000. You should fine, but make sure you're happy with the work once you get it back.

Another update: i went to pick up the car the body work is awsome but the cars alignment is still off, i dont think they aligned it correctly one of the workers was complaining about the car being to low and i couldent even understand what the hell he said he did but it dident sound right. He said something like he only aligned the front or rear im not sure, but i basically caught them in a lie because they said they fixed it. im thinking of taking it out of there and bringing it to an evo shop for the mechanic work. Im going to give them another chance to re-align the car because the manager has been really fair with me and basically painted my front bumper and fenders for free and did a damn good job. Plus i have been on top of the shop the whole time, and my area was hit by hurricane sandy so that slowed everything down. i currently have no power and will be updating with my phone until the power is restored
