Emissions question.
I would buy a rear o2 spacer, it goes after the test pipe, it makes your car think it still has a cat and not thro a CEL. You can buy it online STM sells it for $8. If it does work then just get a high flow cat, some places might not look underneath the car for a cat so try the o2 space first.
the force pass patch will work in NY as long as you mirror stock settings...passed for 3 years now, initially with a test pipe and now with a hi flow. unless NYC does dyno emissions now/still?
Doesn't*** Do you know if the car was ever tuned? If so, sometimes the tuner will disable the rear o2 and cat, if you go get it inspected and they tell you that the o2 and cat aren't ready that will be why. The reason why they disable it is so your car won't thro a CEL. To enable it again, you would have to go back to the tuner.
yeah i went couple of weeks back to get it done but i didnt get through with it because it said something about how my o2 sensors wasnt ready, guy said i have to drive the car for couple of miles.
My evo came from fl atleast that's what the dealer told me when I bought it.
He said it was tune in fl with the supporting light mods the car has. This might be a problem?
