I was trying to do my first boost leak test on the Evo I've had for a week and after removing the airbox I noticed a square black piece just hanging from connectors.

It's shiny black, bottom side is metal with a bunch of metal pegs sticking up. It has holes so it can be mounted but I can't tell where it should go. I really don't know if its been like this for the last week or if I just did it. I'm on my phone but I can text someone a picture if they can help.

 

 

looks like the fan module

 

bolts to the radiator fan, there is a little bracket that sticks out with a 10mm head 6mm thread that holds it on.

I know man. This one just wasn't loved. I plan on having it for a long time so I'm doing what I can. It's my rescue Evo

 

What part of the states was this picked up from? I'd hate to see some of the suspension bolts.

 

Ohio. I'd say its a mix of location and the previous owner not caring. I've already fixed so much little crap that he just didn't care to do. Fuses, bulbs, etc
