The cold truth is mods dont raise the value of a car. Now if you have a purpose built track car with a pedigree and a back ground (aka the ams car) then you might have something there. But your run of the mill street built car isnt going to pull much more if any than a stock vehicle in the same condition.

Maybe his wife/girl wants him to sell it and this is his way of showing her it's for sale & yet still gets to keep it. Seems genius to me.

Even if he bought it new for $30k +40k on mods and labor, where does the other 30k+ come from ? This guy wants to get all his money back. If I had the money I wouldnt pay more than 35k for this car, for 75k I rather go with a used Viper or ZO6.

Rule of thumb for this kind of stuff is take the amount of money you put into the car + value of car = hope you get 1/3 of it back

yes the price is way too high i could see the high 30's low 40's due to the low mileage and if the seller could produce detailed invoices etc etc. That being said there are a lot of evo enthusiasts on here that that place a intrinsic value on their cars because they're emotionally attached to them ( includes me, i did all building on my car minus tuning.) This is why i will never sell me car...ill be buried in it...lol

$35k tops maybe. $50k for a stock evo with less than 500miles.

First off, reading that ad I counted the word "Custom" used 14 times. "Custom Fuse Holder" WTF??? Sounds like a 16 year old with a Honda. I see Evo 9s Identical to this all the time with around 10k on them go for $25k all day long.

If you bought a like new evo with low miles and built it to the point he did or to even the point i have. Youll pay out quite a bit more then his asking price. I dont think his car is worth 75... But maybe 50. This is why people part out or return to stock prior to selling.
Secondly, you are either full of **** or need to find some sponsors. $75K? I love my Evo but thats a little excessive.
