I bet there isn't even a real car for sale, it's just to keep the resale value high.

 

thats just plain ridiculous...... any evo can fetch a pretty penny. but i don't any of them fetching anymore then possibly $35,000 and im talking about the older models.

i personally have noticed evos 8-9 can fetch anywhere from $16k all the way to $25K and thats somewhat pushing it.

 

That certainly is a good point. Import taxes from other countries can double, triple, and even quadruple the price that you pay in the states. China and Japan are great examples, an MDX here is about $40-50k, in China it is $100-130k. BMW's about $40-50k here, $60-90k in Japan. I personally know some Japanese in the states for business and they bought a brand new 3 series because once they go back they will never be able to afford one... once in a life time opportunity you may say.

I remember when 2jzgte supras were being sold for upper teens and low 20s, then The Fast and the Furious came out. The prices skyrocketed to the 30k area.

 

So we just need a few million to make a major hollywood production with an Evo as the hero car....got it. Ive got $20, who else is in?
