I have searched many uk sites and still can't confirm if an evo 4 starter motor is the same as an evo 8 , some uk company's say starter motor for sale 4,5,6,7,8,9 and some say 4,5,6.

Obviously it's not an easy question to answer due to the fact NA never had these cars, but we have plenty of experts on this site so I hope someone has some info

if u have the part number from the evo 4 starter use it to find one... i have a issue with my starter in my evo 5 and i use the part number to find one in the US (i live in venezuela) is more safety for you...

 

Ya the evo 4 part number dosnt come up with anything at Mitsuparts.net
I read that the evo 8 is a little smaller then evo 4 but it fits according to a few people . Ones on order anyways and if it dosnt fit I have one for my evo 8 lol
