hey guys just after a little advice, i have a evo 6 and have the following bolt ons, walbro 500 hp fuel pump, 1000cc injectors, link g4, custom piping and intercooler, i want to bolt a gt3582r on, will this turbo be too big??, wud a aggressive cam help??, im not too worried about engine life as this engine will be completely rebuilt, how much kw would i be looking at on high boost??

Hey Aaron, welcome aboard m8!

Not too many people are familiar with the Evo 6 on this site since we didn't get the Evos in the US until the 8. Even though the motors are the "same" they're pretty different in the way they're modded in dealing with specifics.

I would suggest popping over to Mitsubishi Lancer Register and reading through some of the threads there. Those chaps will be able to get you sorted.

You can also look for a local Evo tuner and tell them your plans for the car, and they should be able to offer you sound advice on what to do next.

Enjoy that 6 though... one of the most hardcore Evo's ever made!

 

From what I have read our 6's have quite a poor piston/rod/gaskits/tcase/gear box.. etc. Other than that.. Rock solid
