From 484hp baseline, we got 532hp & 500tq @ 27-30psi on Mustang Dyno!!! This would be 612hp & 580tq on MAPs DynoJet using the proven variance above. I'm so excited I can hardly type. Just on trailer and headed back home. Will update pics and graphs soon. The 2.4 is SICK. Quick low end power is addicting. Neat when you can impress another shop and they get excited too. Unofficially, it's the highest power on single Walbro 400 & EF3. Power and tune had plenty more, but limited only by fuel pump.

Special thanks to Kevin & team at Evolution Dynamics. They gave me VIP service all day. Even got demo of "My Shop Assist". :-)

Looks like MAPerformance has built a big winner here!

Pics & updates this weekend.

Not trying to shoot down your numbers, but things aren't quite adding up. I can use the MAP 523 whp DJ and the 484 whp DD to calculate the DJ multiplier for your car. 523/484 = 1.08. If I multiply your 532 whp DD * 1.08, I get 575 whp.

Also, I don't recall seeing 523 whp from getsideways's break-in tune dyno plot. If I look back at what he posted, I see a solid 510 whp. This gives me a ratio of 510/484 = 1.054. If I multiply your 532 whp DD * 1.054, I get 560 whp.

560-575 whp are still great numbers, and IMHO, they are more inline with what the E85 Walbro 400 can do on factory wiring, factory fuel supply line, and reasonable AFRs.

mrfred Your math is correct and i agree if those are the actual numbers.

Hes getting the 523 Number from One of the earlier conversations i had with MAP which was the number they gave me initially before they found that lower number on the tuning computer.
The dyno sheet posted in that breakin tune thread and sent to me from MAP was the LOWEST dyno number MAP made and was done with lower boost then the baseline number down at EvolutionDynamics. Which also Confuses me, When I spoke to Drive200 (andy) over the phone or via text he told me It baselined at 470WHP on the mustang Dyno Down at EvoD.

If those numbers Were correct i came up with a multiplier of 1.13x I also think EvoD has had experience with comparisons to the MAP Dynojet before because they were suggesting (I'm assuming) using a multiplier of 1.15

Either way like you mentioned its great power, I really want to know the max potential of the turbo/engine setup, Andy please borrow someones double pumper...
Or try to hit up a Dyno Day on a DJ down there to see what it makes, Or just continue to embarrass ZO6 owners at the road course

its about 575 on a dynojet. That's Steve Kan's mustang. it reads around 8% lower then a dynojet. looks like a fun setup for sure.

time to rewire that fuel pump!

Can we see the Dyno graph please? I'm interested to see the power curve.

Hey guys, I am waiting to get the dyno graphs. I have one print out of baseline vs final tune I will scan and post. As soon as I get the graphs from Kevin, I will post the rest. I will also email to Miciah so he can update MAP thread. As for exact ratios on HP, you guys are the experts. I was just trying to post what I thought made sense. Guess I am kind of confused too knowing the turbo was boosting higher on our baseline tune. We got 484hp vs MAPs 523hp. I'm happy either way, but since this is a milestone for EF3, I want to be accurate. I asked Kevin at EVO Dynamics to chime in.........

Here is my only print out from the dyno comparing conservative baseline tune from MAPerformance DynoJet Dyno to Final Tune on EvoDynamics Mustang Dyno. Once I get the original detailed graphs from Kevin, I will move the discussion with pics to EF series turbo thread in Engine Tuning section. For now, here is a quick scan and paste. I am very impressed with this MAPerformance EF3 turbo and engine build. Let me know what you think. I am pretty sure this defines running out of fuel

EDIT Also kinda weird on MAPs dyno run It looked to be making the same power from 5800-7500 on the mustang dyno run with that same tune it falls on its face up top.

Any mention of what Injector Duty cycles and Fuel pressure was at on that run?

Engine pic

I think 40% duty cycle.

Here is engine pic. Probably the most unassuming 500+ HP EVO ever!

Not a lot of bling. Everything is ported/polished to the best of MAP's ability. Probably best in country they way they do it.

Yup! The crazy seller had to go out and flog it before shipping it. I keep telling myself it was a good shakedown making sure everything worked. And guess what...it's all working. This is the fastest EVO I have ever been in. AMAZING!
