Back from Deployment, ACD lights on.
2005 Evo VIII GSR SSL
So I just came home from deployment and pulled my car out of storage. No one was able to start it up for me when I was gone, but I pulled her out of my storage unit and everything was fine. It started up first try with no problems at all. No ticks, no smoke, nothing. Couple days later I did an oil change, and started to do my exhaust. After having to use a dye grinder on my stock exhaust bolts to get the stock exhaust off (rusted on), I realized I was sent the MP for an Evo X, thus leaving me with only part of my new turbo back, and a stock exhaust that I was unable to re-install (don't ask) and forcing me to run open DP for a few days (o2 unplugged).
When I initially start my car, only one light comes on (Tarmac). After a few minutes of driving all three turn on and stay on until I turn it off, and then it repeats the same process the next time I drive. I've researched somewhat and I'll I found was that everyones were permenantly on (ACD pump), instead of coming on after driving, like mine.
I'm supposed to be driving twelve hours to Florida on Monday to go on leave. The rest of my exhaust was mailed to Florida, instead of where I'm stationed, due to company policy. So, what does the light show on my ACD mean, and how well do stock Evo's react to running open DP for twelve hours on the interstate until I get my exhaust on. This isn't an ideal situation I know, but I'm left with no other choice. Thanks for any input.

Pump internals are prolly corroded. Same thing with mine, it only comes on after driving it for a bit. If I just sit there idling, it doesn't happen, pump isn't trying to build pressure.
Try this, key on/engine off, push the gas pedal to the floor and hold it for a few seconds, you'll hear the pump priming. The sound should change, as the pump builds pressure. If it doesn't, most likely you have corrosion inside the pump housing, and it can't build adequate pressure. The 3 ACD lights will come on to indicate a fault.
You can buy a pump rebuild kit for ~200 bucks, comes with a new plate, bearing, some seals, etc...

I would rebleed the system before you replace anything. You see you just came back after letting the car sit for awhile. Perhaps it just needs a little of pressure building in the system.
All 3 of mine came on about a year ago, would turn off car and on to see if it went away. After a few days no more issues, give it a few days and see if it goes away.
I have a IX MR btw

Mine has been doing this exact thing, I don't think there is any harm in running it with the system doing this. Someone please convince me if this is something i should just leave alone are spend the time and money fixing.

you can run it as is, but then your ACD diff is not working and you are running open centre diff..
Take the pump off and send it to acd-tuning for overhaul..
You can drive around without the pump...
