26 is a bit much. But if you have the extra cash to spare id pick a IX over an VIII any day unless the mileage gap was much larger. I feel like a IX holds its value better along side being better in performance stock.
Yea the ix was nice I like the exterior also but man the interior for the white leather seats is just awesome especially the bucket seats. Man im ganna have to drive both monday.
I think you posted up the wrong link for the silver one. I looked at a white evo and a silver on before I made my choice as well. I know it's going to be a tough decision especially with the SSL white one. If I were to buy another evo I would personally go for the one that was stock. Drive both and let the car pick you. Also I might be a little biased because I love my silver evo
Overpriced IMO. You can find good used Evos from private sellers on here for 20-22k and they are Evo IX's.
Look in the cars for sale section and link up w one that interests you.
Dont believe all the BS about people saying they babied it and never driving it hard.
You dont find a hot woman and tell her you just want to cuddle, you tell her you wanna f**k.
The good news is the 4G63 is a very resilient engine, almost bulletproof.
When you meet the seller, let him drive the car first to get a feeling for how he drives/mannerisms i.e riding clutch, gears grinding, etc, if he turns the radio on ask if he can turn it off so you can listen for odd noises. The tranny is the weakness in our cars, so if there is going to be any major damage its prob going to be your drivetrain.
Bring a friend with you to be devils advocate in case you get a clouded mind.
good luck and be patient.
wait for the right one.
