I'd imagine you have a gas station near by with air.

Find one with one of those Air & Water self service stations (I guess it's all self service except here and Jersey) and make sure it's out of the way. You wouldn't want to become an annoyance. Grab your $20 ebay boost leak tester and pressurize your system. If you have an intake already, it wouldn't take long to setup. Listen for leaks, take a mental note, and head to the part store. Spend $5-10 on rubber lines and your set.

Well turns out my car jumped timing by two teeth. Best part is Carx replaced the timing belt a month ago and when I took it there to get looked at they said they couldn't figure it out and that I had to take it to a specialist.....Anyway Ips fixed it and I am currently making car x pay the bill.

I however have another problem right before I took it to IPS my speedo and odometer went out. I replaced the VSS and it still has the same problem no SES light either. Any other ideas?

It seems this isn't your problem but to answer your question, no. At idle very little air is entering the engine. A small leak in the intake not measured by the air flow sensor here has a chance to screw up the mixture. Once the throttle is opened and more air flow, the small leak is no longer important. Well, not important until you hit boost and your pressurized air leaks out.

I got it back from the shop yesterday. IPS is two hours away from me so I was hoping to fix it myself.
