We are preaching what has "worked". ET had a chance to prove us wrong and instead got their @$$ handed to them with the pics they posted being picked apart by people who "KNOW" what they are doing and then when the jig is up instead of showing and proving........they ran.

i send you videos of car with extreme tuners parts running 6s, what more proof you need from this? Also my car with stock frame unit had 10.5 in the first run and easy to brake it.

Now give me your proof that extreme tuners parts are BS, what parts you personally buy from them and not happy? Seems like a bad hater to me. Critics are welcome good or bad from those who have bought things

Where do I start?

Until ET sends their parts to a car HERE in the US, I call BS.
Send it to a reputable shop (ER, STM, BR, MAP), until I call BS

I would gladly wear the HATER title if it applied in this instance it doesn't. Hater implies I am jealous of the parts ET makes. I'm not jealous of something that has hype and no substance. If you didn't just sign on the for sole purpose of helping ET snow more unsuspecting forum members then you would see that I don't mind spending the money for something that actually WORKS.

Not advertised to work but never tested.
Not should work but never seen.
Not work on a few cars I've never seen or heard of in other countries.

Bottom line if ET's products even existed or were worth the money I would buy. I've bought expensive parts before. If it makes sense then cost isn't a problem. My problem is high dollar cost somehow equating to some magical unicorn parts that quite frankly very few people on this side of the pond have seen, or been able to independently verify.

If you are happy with them fine but if you search the last big thread of them...they got ran off this board after the proof they tried to show was debunked thoroughly by people who are smarter then me.

You won't win this battle.

 

There have been mutiple examples of Extreme Tuners extreme bull**** on this website. Many highly respected people from various Evo communities shown that the only thing extreme about ET is the prices and claims.

The most proof I have seen of cutting edge parts has been other manufacturers parts photoshop edited to look like their own.

Thanks for coming out of the woodwork like so many others to start a new account the day a thread about ET comes up and suck on ET's teat.

Anyone who does some research on here can see that they are way overpriced and questionable at best. For all the claims, I see nothing that has not been done before.

Extreme tuners dont write here anymore. My name and my car and my setup is known, i am not somebody hidden or else. i have also my pic near my car. What else you want to see my tax number?

Dont just point others because the others you told me are your local friends and shops, we all know that its common secret that there isnt bad point of view of ET and 2 local shops built this photoshop BS. I know that the law after them now for this fraud.
To our subject now, just give me a name or show us the parts that extreme tuners built and sell you and wasnt as they told or second class. You have to show us NOTHING. I challenge any of you to show us one just bolt or anything.

You must acquire something to judge it, how both of you judge something that your friend told you? We care about facts not rumors that some haters create.

My proof is my car, and many other cars also. World class setups and cars. Go to their FB page to see many of them.

I dont care about ET but i pay something to them and was exactly what i pay. Any of you that judge them megative probably dont have parts from them.

Why mt057 and Smurfzila dont make a comment of the eclipse that runs 90psi and had 200mhp passes with their parts and 6s and let it go? Here is the proof you ask. Now i am calling you BS and pawns of your tuners.

Its uselless to keep discuss it anymore, i know and see everyday ET make new dealers worldwide and already have one of the biggest sale-motorsport network wordwide. You just keep chewed the same caramel with BS and let the people that buy these parts decide if are good or not.

Sorry about the off topic thread. I'll go back to recommending what works. Its hard for me to rate parts that are either don't exist or are expensive for no reason. Sorry.

And all this world wide acclaim.....F1 support.....yadda yadda yadda and yet still have barely seen ANYTHING from ET on these shores.........Wow that is really peculiar.

Pretty much echoeing everything that has been said, but I don't know why anyone would support a shop that has ridiculous glorified claims and no proven performance, why not support the guys that live here and have results so they can give you support when its needed. Anyway, I drive a built 2.0L 10.5/1 compression CP pistons heavily ported head with GSC S3's and oversized valves with a precision 6466 it makes almost 900 HP on full kill. I drive it on the street quite a bit and I can tell you from experience it's fun as heck to have all the power, but it is far from a good daily driver. I don't like to daily drive it, for the pure fact that it is simply not fun in traffic and stop and go style driving, and I don't wanna put all the wear on the clutch to putt around town and to and from work lol. Anyone that tells you that a 700-800+ hp evo can be a good daily driver hasn't ever had one and Maintained one themselves. Not saying it can't be done just saying my opinion is like smurfzilla and others, it's over rated. A 450-500 evo is the limit for good "daily drivability" IMO. I daily drive a 99 Chevy silverado. I drive the evo when I wanna make some jam.

 

so i decide to call wiseco and i could spent half that amount there only charging 649.00 for what i asked.i shoulda called around befor going into the shop guy got me on buying these pistons

hmm, Well honestly for those who have never tried different things don't always know about all the different ways of doing things. Just make sure he checks piston to valve clearances.

 

My advice........and seriously if you search my screen name you can see my history, is STOP.

Do not let this guy do your build.

Sounds to me like he doesn't work on Evo's day in and out. It might be part of his business but unless he has built other high HP Evo's that are still running......STOP.

He may be a nice guy and willing to help you out, BUT, when mistakes happen (and because of his inexperience they will) and he has to start coming out of pocket to fix them watch how fast you start feeling unwelcomed at his shop.........I've seen it time and time again.

You will end up with a half assed product that another shop will have to finish and you will have spent the money twice.

STOP.

I can't make this any clearer. What state do you live in? It would be worth it for you to go to a "reputable" shop that has experience with these types of builds. If you current shop didn't know Wiseco makes custom pistons.........

RUN.

Seriously. I'm beating a dead horse but I don't want you to do through what i went through.
