Lmao at crime scene

Those TT rods are good to 1,000hp.. But it's not hp I would worry about, it's Torque that kills things.

The factory crankshaft has been known to hold well, there is just something about the word stock that scares me. So everyone I know that asks my advice I say go Manley crank. just my .02

If you knew how easy it is to hurt a crank, you wouldn't spend 3k on one unless English Racing, Buschur etc was building it.

My next pistons will be 12.1:1, not for the power but the off boost response. My secondary kit will activate at 2psi and ***** to the wall from there. I will reduce my turbo size down from the 3586 to the 3582 if I keep it a street car. If not I will stay 11.2:1 and go to a bigger turbo.

(my emphasis)

I always thought it was RPMs, not horsepower or torque that killed rod bolts. Or am I wrong?

Torque, RPM (Revolution(s) Per Minute), Bad tuning, gross negligence, etc. kill motors.

Horsepower is an equation of torque and RPM so I am sure that with enough it will kill them quite easily too.

It seems that tons of torque at low RPM is bad for the rods because they are loaded up for a longer period of time then at high RPM where they are only loaded briefly (but at a greater frequency). Once you start hitting higher HP levels the load becomes to great again, even with the lesser duration the rods are exposed to the load.

It seems that oil starvation becomes a big issue at high rpm killing motors and tranny synchros can't handle it as well.
