Hello all,

I have a squeal on cold start and have narrowed it down to the belt tensioner. Does anyone know of any aftermarket tensioners? I am not trying to get racked over the coals by Mitsubishi for $143. I see listings on advance auto website but I am not sure of part number information. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

post up a WTB. I had to do the same thing after mine broke. Think I got it for $50 used. Just a thought or bite the bullet and go new. You could always order it up from advanced auto and let us all know the outcome

He's talking about the serp belt tensioner.... not the timing belt tensioner that's posted in that thread.

 

This, I don't wanna buy used, could run into the same issue as I'm having now.
