Powder Coating Thread

Hi, I'm new here on evoM, I was wondering how big the evo community is into powder coating. Does anyone here do it themselves? I love it, since I have been powder coating, everything on my car looks 10 times better.

Heres some pics:

What does a powder coater cost? I've never even considered buying one, but I am now. Lol.

You can find a couple for less than $100 and they give awesome results for the price. Check out the link I posted up there for my powder coating guide if you want to know about them.

All of that looks really great-- just make sure that if you have machined surfaces that your powdercoater masks them off correctly or reassembly can be a PITA!

Thanks, I am my powder coater, lol. I spend a good amount of time on masking but I did forget to mask one time. It was was hole in the middle of my alternator pulley. The pulley refused to go on the shaft with the powder coating. It took awhile to sand down to say the least.
