Talking New car warranty

I have secured the funds and have purchased a 2013 EVO X GSR it is being delivered to the dealer this Tuesday ,I haven't been able to sleep! Everytime I close my eyes i picture myself driving around windy mountain roads like the one i drove on the test drive. I was wondering if anyone has installed cat back exhaust on a brand new Evo X and not had issues with dealer. I did ask the question if I can install a cat back exhaust and still be covered by warranty, the dealer said it should be fine as long as the exhaust is not found to be the problem, I took that comment as "we are going to blame your exhaust for any problems the car has and not fix your car for free" has anyone purchased a brand new Evo X installed after market exhaust and still been to claim under warranty. PS this is my first thread

Wrong section buddy, this is the Evo 1-9 area.

But as an ex X owner, I wouldnt recommend doing any modifications. I know my local dealers gave me a hard time about an upper intercooler pipe.

Im not sure how Australia dealers are though. I have heard of some people having a tad bit more luck, but most stories tend to be less favoring when it comes to any mod and a dealer.

Don't change a thing until you can't stand it anymore and then kiss your warranty goodbye.

I'd try to hold off a little while. The car could come with a factory installed defect.
