Diagnosis Problem...03 Evo

OK, so...the EVO is a stock 2003 machine. What it has been doing is dying when the throttle is applied. It will start and idle but when the throttle is applied the RPM cut to 250-500rpm and will not go any further. All of the vacuum, etc. lines seem to be intact. The spark plugs are new, as are the coil packs and the wires. Frustrating....so, I'm thinking somewhere in the fuel delivery or air systems...But if anyone has any words of wisdom or has experienced this please help a brother out....

You hit the nail on the head, you have some type of fuel problem or so it appears. It's hard to tell without being there though.

Unplug your MAF and plug it back in. Might have a boost leak. But sounds more like MAF sensor isn't working. U another possibility is fuel filter. My eclipse did that.

Sorry, Haven't been online for awhile

Ok, so I hauled the car to a mechanic. He diagnosed the problem as being a bad MAF, MAF wiring harness and spark plugs. The great part is that he can fix it all for a meager $2500. arghhh.
