Average machine shop time

For those of us who have had a machine shop build our blocks and heads, about how long did it take from the day you dropped the core off until you got it back? I know the amount of time it takes has several factors and constraints.....I'm just looking to get a generic idea of some of your wait times.

Cheers.

Took me about a month to get it all back. The machine shop I use outsources headwork to another shop. I basically had the machine shop do everything except put the motor together. They did everything including teh ring gaps, etc. All I had to do was assemble.
