I did one tension bar but it looks even. Hmmm? You might want to try the other tension bar, if still uneven, then order RS tension bars.

I've been dealing with this issue for about 4 months now. I ended up removing both torsion bars. I need to just break down and buy the Redline kit cuz right now I try to avoid opening my trunk as much as possible

I looked up the redline kit it requires you to rivit it into the cf hood?
& they only make them for the hood not the trunk.
So far on the site most remove both bars and use tge carpet to keep the release up inorder to open the trunk.
I wanted to go upscale.
That soulution is not what I wanted to do.
What about taking evo x trunk brackets and using them?

Cool man! Make sure you post up your experience with it. I've only seen one other thread where a guy used it and he had nothing but good things to say about it. I'm hoping to pick up a kit soon my self.

Because I currently have not installed a lock to keep a flush look.
I'm sure the problem will be solved with the redline kit.

I also do not have a key hole. Furthermore, my trunk wouldn't sit right with the torsion bars installed. One side sat higher than the other.
