Used Evo ?

Here is my situation:

I have a modified Audi and I really don't care to own it anymore, cause an Evo stock is basically better than my car would be performance wise even with 15K of mods.

I am just not sure I care to go into a lot of debt before I go to school over a car. I am thinking about picking up an 03 Evo from someone used come spring 05 ( I know that sounds like a long way off but I am in the military and going to deploy to Iraq) I am thinking about having about 16-20k cash.

Do you think that I could find one with 20K or less miles for about 20-23K? or not?

TIA.

Well looky who it is

I'd say you'd have no problem finding an Evo in your price range when you return.

When he said "over", he probably meant "finished/ended".

It certainly looks like the resale value isn't going to be very high, at this point. It depends on many factors. I hear that Mitsu's parent company is doing some house cleaning. If they discontinue production of the EVO, that would have a big effect on resale!

Anyway, it's good for the folks that are looking to buy an EVO.

I would probably try and do a private party trade if I wanted to get rid of mine. Honestly, though, there is no way in hell I would get rid of it unless I had to. I love it!

If invoice is $27-28K on a new one..
And used ones are selling for low to mid twenties..

the resale is GREAT!

I too had this misconception becuase we all paid list price ++ a year ago..

But I was forced to think about it..(thx Fireball )The resale on the EVO is stronger than a lot of cars..
