Lots of threads on this site for this topic. For stock like spool the hta71 or the bbk full seem to be the way to go.

What kind of power are you aiming for? What supporting mods do you have? What clutch?

I have a 25g turbo (Kinugawa with a billet compressor wheel) and I made 461awhp on 25psi and e85. My 1050cc injectors and 255lph pump are close to maxed out. I would recommend a methanol set up if you are running pump gas and you can make up to 500-550 to the wheels with the right tune. The turbo I have is about $1100 new from Kinugawa. A FP red would be a good equivalent, more reliable but also more expensive. You can send your stock IX turbo and have them modify and rebuild it. They can modify it into either the FP Green, Red or Black

You will need bigger injectors, FMIC and a good tune for all of this. If you don't have e85 readily availing, methanol is a good alternative that lets you run more timing, ultimately making more power.

The power your making is exactly what im looking for but on pump gas cause its seriously hard to find e85 where im at. How would you contact fp if I were to send my turbo in and how much power will your turbo produce on pump

Honestly if you're adamant about staying on pump gas then you're gonna have to make a choice, do you want a 500whp Evo or really quick spooling Evo?! Hitting high 400/low 500whp on pump gas is gonna take a big turbo. Like something along the lines of a FP Black or a MAP EF4. These certainly aren't quick spooling turbo's compared to the CBRD BBK Full or the Tomei A.R.M.S. you mentioned. In my opinion they're too laggy for me on the street. A street car should be fun, immediate, and responsive. The BBK Full, FP 71HTA, FP Green, MAP EF2, and MAP EF2.5 are perfect for that. With that being said you probably won't hit 500whp with any of those turbos i just mentioned on pump gas. you'll most likely be between 380 and 425whp range on a mustang dyno. If you can you should look into E85 and see if its avaliabe around you. This way you can kill two birds with one stone. you can have a fast spooling, 500whp Evo. My buddy has a Evo 9 with a BBK Full tuned on E85 and he's making 500whp on the dot. Car pulls like a damn freight train. Meth Injection is also another good alternative for bumping up boost and timing thus resulting in more HP. In the end like I said if you want to be on pump gas you're gonna have to make a choice, 500whp or quick spool. Cause on pump gas, two very different sized turbos are need for either of those goals. Good luck

No problem man, always here to help. The only thing I'll say about the smaller, quick spooling, stock frame units is they tend to spike really early and really fast when not tuned properly. side effects of that is your engine's bottom end going bye bye. so if you decide to go with one of the smaller turbos make sure you find a tuner who knows what they're doing and distribute the right amount of low end torque. this will preserve the reliability of your car in the long run.

That might or might not be hard to do cause I get my car tuned by awd motorsports and they've tuned many evos with fps installed but I dont think they did any bbks, since after hearing what your buddy made on e85, thats the turbo im shoting for

Google Forced Performance and they have a contact section. e kobz is right, you are going to sacrifice instant spoof for power. My turbo builds full boost at 4300rpm's and the FP Red would spool a little quicker. I say go with a Forced performance Red and a nice methanol set up. Methanol is the best affordable alternative to e85. You should be able to get 450-500 out of that set up with really quick spool.

My buddy in KC made right above 500awhp (525ish) on a Forced Performance Red as well. The BBK turbo is also really nice and your shop should be able to tune for no problem.

If your tuned on e85, does that mean that I can only pump e85 and not pump gas if I wanna drive long distance

I have two maps in my car. I have a tune for 91 octane (for long trips) and an e85 tune for locally. Your tuner can set up something similar for you. I change between the two tunes with my gas pedal and only takes a few seconds.
