Do not get the a.r.m.s., HKS, or any other JDM stock replacement turbo for the evo. they don't hold up like the FP, MAP, or CBRD turbos do. no to mention you have the opportunity to help a company, that's always a bonus. the other big benefit to running one of FP, MAP, or CBRD's turbos is in case something ever does go wrong they're just a phone call away and all three places have awesome customer service and they stand behind their product. Try getting a Japanese company on the phone not to mention their customer service is horrible most of the time.

And in regard to what turbo will fit your need(s) just ask yourself this one question: do you want quick spool and response or do you want top end power. On pump it's hard to have both, on E85 it's relatively easy.

The bbk full is exactly what I want but im afraid that awd wouldn't b able to tune it since there used to tuneing fps. Would I have to send my turbo to cbrd to get it built to a bbk full

Your shop will be able tune for it, do not worry about that part. If they can't or refuse to, you need a new tuner.

I know FP lets you either buy brand new or send your turbo in. Im not sure about CBRD

You can run an external wadtegate with any stock frame turbo, yes. You would need to get a different o2 housing with an external wastegate flange. I believe MAP sells them. It is a stock appearing turbo but there are differences a well trained eye can see if they look close. The biggest give away is the blue compressor wheel.

our turbo looks completely stock--

I dont believe in using the external gates on stock turbos---- most of the o2's have the WG post turbine which adds un-needed volume to the turbine housing and then creates lag-

We can modify a stock IX turbo or build a new one- and they look 100% oem when installed on the car
