If youre never going to have more than 430wtq than an exedy twin will be good for you. If you make more than that, QM 6 leg will work, and the QM 8 leg is holding a ton of power lately. The Exedy triple cannot be used if youre driving on the street (stright from Exedy)

Unless your pushing mad power go with the Exedy Twin HD. This is a silly question. Now if you dont want to spend 1600 dollars...thats where you find debatable clutch discussions

I'm selling my exedy triple for $1700 if you're possibly interested in that. It'll last a very long time with 600whp and only has 4k miles. these clutches can handle 800+tq which is far more than you or probably any other evo will make. I'm parting out my car so I have no use for it but theres nothing wrong with it. PM me your number for pics and more details if you're interested

I have an exedy twin HD and love it. Great in the streets and strip. Never had a single issue with it. Would never get a different clutch.

The Exedy HD Twin is hands down the way to go. Most streetable aftermarket clutch I've ever driven, and launching with it is amazing.

id recommend getting a push style clutch and switching to a hydraulic TOB, make your life easier and save you from replacing your thrust bearings sooner than you have to, i believe excedy twin is still pull style, so you have the same problems of clips popping out. ive never personally used one( i run quartermaster) but alot of subaru clowns run them where im from and they seem to hold up fine...... however subarus dont make evo kind of power =P

I am happy with my exedy HD twin. 525whp and 479wtq on stm's dyno. ACT has a mono lock which looks nice. I have the exedy normal locker though.

The old push vs pull style debate. I have a friend that had nightmare of a time with his push style and decided after removing trans 4 times to go back to pull style. I have never had a single issue with my pull style exedy twin hd and will stick with it.

Why the accumulator mod? Only time it'll actually affect anything is launching, and in reality isn't the goal to NOT dump the clutch?

That's not true at all it changes how the clutch feels when engaging entirely, in fact it's the best just street driving because it makes it that less of an on/off switch

If you're staying relatively under 500 i'd say Exedy twin, anything higher QM 8 leg with an accumulator.

+1 on QM 8-Leg with Accumulator mod.

If money is no object ATS/Carbonetics triple.
