I have worked with all types of enforcement types and it depends on who you get. This trooper is probably married to a ***** of a wife and never gets any poon, or else his boss is putting the old ticket push on him. I am not a cop and personally I think there are very few good ones, but just remember to respect them and say as little as possible when they pull you over. Don't make unheard of excuses and DO NOT have your license in hand before the officer asks for it.

If you were given god of the road powers and no one was around to monitor your actions, it would eventually go to your head too.

I agree with you. i don have a problem with cops and i am allways respectful.
why shouldnt you have your licence in hand before the officer asks for it? i figure no matter why you get pulled over theyll allways ask for it. a few other people have told me that you should have it ready.... just wondering

He's mad cause when he was illegally street racing the night before, he got beat by an EVO.... He then purchased some weed with $ he pocketed from some drug dealers earlier and got high... saw you, and decided to get some retribution.

Why are some officers so god-damned biased? Last weekend I was trying to F'ing sleep in, but was awoken by a Harley driving down the street about 50 yards from my house.

That was a rhetorical question... But honestly what the hell is the Exam like to get into police enforcement?

1:Are you a belligerent *******?
2:Will you use the badge to compensate for some of your other "short comings?"
3:How loud can you scream "HEEEEEE-HAW!!!!!" while you beat the crap of silly import drivers with blue head lights?
4: Is it ok to beat the crap out of silly import drivers even without blue headlights?

If you answered “yes” to 1, 2, and 4 and “It’s hard to hear myself when I’m firing my weapon” to number 3, yer IN!

For those of you outdoors, you may now stand up, throw your cap in the air, and fire randomly in the air (or at your cap, like you’re in the old west), while giving us your best “HEEEEEEE-HAW!!!!”

Congratulations!

I would have got his badge number and asked for his supervisor... put in a written complaint on harrassment and make sure you send to the appropriate person (not that cop, but his boss's boss) I've been in situations like this before, and if you act calm, professional and take the right steps... he will change his attitude really quick.

Just my .02

you think that's a bad experience check this out. my granfather use to be the police chief in my town, he had just retired and they got a new cop (not the cheif juat a patrolman) and every cop know's my car and who i am i never get any ****. but this new guy didn't know me or my car. So i'm down getting soda at a gas station with 2 friends at like 12 at night. well we were leaving and my stires slipped in the gravel( accidentally) right as he drives by. so i start to pull out and see him turn around so i just pulled over right there. well he comes up to my car and asks what i was doin back there so i said getting drinks, he says bull**** get out of your car( never asked to see my license which would have shown who i was) so he harasses the **** out of me calling me a little ****/ *******, and all the good ones you can think of. by this time he has me up against my trunk accussing me of drinking( which i wasn't) so i started yelling back tellin him to give me a****ing breathalizer, but he wouldn't. so he calls for back up who happens to know me very well, so as soon as he pulls up i run over to him tell him the story and he tells me to go home. so i talked to my grandfather and he had the cop talk to me and he said he didn't remember saying any of that stuff. what a ****in dick. sorry bout the long story just figured i'd share my bad experience and maybe make ya feel better. and that's a short version there was a lot more swearing and yelling

That's what happens when you live in small town USA. Cops have nothing exciting to do except break *****. I think he needs a vacation to loosen up.

Didn't someone on the east coast get a ticket for a "whale tail"? Cops better get up to speed on these newer cars. i'd say if you poll cops around the US, more than 3/4 would say the Evo is not stock just by looking at it. I think I'm gonna carry my brochure in my glove box if i get pulled over for proof.

...unless you're the small town's newspaper reporter. <---

Then, your're friends with the cops, and they probably won't mess with you unless you are doing something blatently retarded. One snowy night, I asked an officer and friend if he would close off a parking lot so I could go do a bunch of donuts, joking of course. He said no, but that he and the other officer would be off at 9:45 to do something else, so I could knock myself out after that.

He suggested the high school parking lot: wide open, no light posts in the middle. Needless to say, I took the opportunity to have a little fun.

Unless you live in a major city you will be stoped by cops all the time. I only have a Yellow Oz. And must get stoped every where i go and i live in a city of 48800 and every cops knows me and my car no joke. Because each of them have only stoped me like once of more. Some cops are cool and stop me to see if its and evo and tell me they mod imports to and others just hate me since im 18 and i get tickets out the *** for gay ****. The best part is my dads best friend is a lawyer and he always gets the tickets tossed out. GET A GOOD LAWYER and your set.

That's what sux about the muffler law in NY. It does not give a dB level to shoot for, it only states
that you can't modify your exhaust to be louder than stock.
I don't think that's even possible for a Harley ...

P.S. In fariness, it does mention that motorcycles canot have straight pipes.
