im so pissed. i was leaving work going to my 2nd job. and passed a state trooper underneath a bridge. he pulled out and floored it to catch up with me and got right behind me. i knew he was going to pull me over, but i figured it would be for having no front licens plate. after i pull over he walks up to my car and i have my drivers license ready for him. before he even asked for my license he literally yelled "why do you have those blue headlights!!!!!!" i was shocked i didnt even know what to say, i told him they were hid's then he yelled "yea so who put them in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!". i told him mitsubishi did in japan where the car was built, there OEM there stock. he glared at me and yelled "well see about that!!!" and went back to his car.

after waiting for 15 min he came back and told me he is going to call mitsu and ask if the evos come with the "blue headlights", and that i better be telling him the truth or hed be looking for me.

he ended up giving me a $100 ticket for no front license plate, which is fine ill take responsibility for that, but he was such a dick....not to mention a dumb ***. he also made me rev the car to make sure i didnt have a "diferent pipe" on the car.

oh well just had to vent.

i still have the stock exhaust. my whole car is stock. except for my short shifter, but no one would ever know that

 

i would have told him to go bang himself if he asked me to rev my car
the evos hid's arent even that bright...look at a s2000 and how their lights change like 5 different colors coming down the road

i agree. youd think if you did that for a living you might know a little bit about cars. atleast enough to know the difference between HID's and blue tinted bulbs.
