FFTEC uses mustang dyno, and those are pretty good numbers for their dyno..

the only reason i got injen is because i got the whole kit dirt cheap. Im okay with intake and upper pipe but i really want ets lower intercooler pipe. I do want to find a good deal on a used one, i seen them here for around 150 but they go quick and i dont feel like buying a brand new one.
If you guys can hook me up with some ETS piping, hit me up.

Don't cut corners with crappy parts. Better to be patient, plan ahead, and do it right.

I don't think so, I couldn't find anywhere that it says that motor has to be stroked.

^^^ Should be fine on cams. Actually you will be fine, just make sure your valve train is upgraded, I've seen several people destroy their valves because they neglected to upgrade the springs, retainers, etc. Some go without the upgrade because they don't plan to rev as high. In my opinion, if you ever change to a more aggressive cam, you should do the springs and retainers at the same time.

Also, I would recommend thermal throttle body and intake manifold gaskets. It could help you gain a pony or three closer to your goal. Every little bit counts.

Back on the cam subject, if you haven't bought them yet I'd try to persuade you to buy GSC S2's instead. I say this because they are cheap, they average better gains, and have a slightly smoother idle. I don't have direct proof of this but from dyno graphs I've analyzed over time I've seen better gains. I'm sure there is a thread somewhere that backs this up, but I don't want to look for it right now.

appreciate the help
I did buy the cosworth cams. What kind of springs and retainers should i get?
And yes im not planning on revving past the red line.
ill look into the gaskets, i heard evos leak boost on throttle body or somewhere in that area.

Also i just bought ETS LICP. It was used, no couplers. What size coupler do i need for the place where it connects to the turbo j pipe?

I'm running the Kiggly beehive springs and retainers set. They have proven to be extremely tough. I haven't first hand experienced how they perform pass the redline, but they are considered safe to rev to 9500 rpm no problem and rated at 32psi. Because I am stroked and still chillin on the stock turbo, I haven't got to experiment with them in the higher range because I start losing boost after 5500 rpm or so.

Another great reputable company to look into is Supertech for your valve train. The Kiggly beehives would and were my first choice though.

Congratulations on your LICP. I bet you could see 3-4 whp over the initial Injen piping you had. I am in a similar boat as you, except I'm a 2.4L shooting for 430 whp on stock turbo. Right now I'm at 417 whp give or take one or two whp. Its only becoming more difficult as my numbers are higher and I'm running out of ideas to make more power.

so yours is stroked to 2.4 or is it the galant block? I'd like to have a stroker kit on mine in the future but for now my setup will do.
i bet even 417 WHP feels good.

^^Both. Long rod 156mm manley rod and pistons. 4g64 crank/block. Stock 8 turbo. It feels great but I am all out of turbo. 32-33psi already has me sorta sketched out on how much longer the turbo has.
