You are good to go.
gauges are next on my list. I sold my stock manifold and im happy with megan so far, its heatwrapped so it looks pretty cool, gets alot of attention.

im not sure why but after my tune i cant take off really slow on my car. I gotta rev it up to 2k and take off. Before the tune i didnt even have to rev if i was on flat surface, i could just slowly release the clutch and it went. I even took off in second gear without a problem from dead stop. Now if i try to do that the car feels like its about to die and has no power. Thats the only difference i noticed, everthing else is great, just the taking off from dead stop is different now and im not really liking it maybe because im just not use to it. If anyone has any info on that let me know.

I love my 2.99/gal race gas. Yes the mileage is worse.. But, it all evens out. I am running a dual map and have yet to switch over to 91 pisstane. Only 1 station in town but it's worth it to me. Tune, evo 9 turbo, TBE, 3 port, stock 8 cams.... 390whp-380wtq. My car with a Comp stage 2 clutch takes off in second from a slow roll easily.. Did you do a lightweight flywheel?

the e85 gas is like 2.84 here. Im not worried about the mileage at all because its not my daily plus im never planning on taking it on any trips. I just drive it locally. Mostly on weekends.
How many psi are you pushing? dyno tune? thats pretty good power with stock cams.

My car has a stock clutch for now, 6 speed. Can that be the problem or is something wrong with the tune?

$2.99 here. it's 20% cheaper than 91oct in my area, but i get 30% less mpg. luckily i don't daily the car so not a biggie except on my 200mi drive to the race track.

your accel issue can be so many things. did your tuner scale the injectors properly and adjust the latency values? mine idles very bad before Jay did mine. it also didn't like the low-speed stuff. i was running really lean. swapping all those parts with no wideband is really putting you in a questionable position... it's scary to not have one when you are tuned. i would recommend getting one as soon as you can. it helps diagnose a lot of issues. even without, you can log your fuel trims and o2 feedback to see if your injectors are setup right in the tune.

The tuner told me I wouldn't need any gauges because they can tune everything without them on my car, they will hook up their own stuff. I saw them hook up the boost gauge. That's about it I think. It's just every time I take off I feel like I'm riding the clutch some when I never had to before. I guess I'll get gauges and take it to them for e85 and address the issue to him so he can take a look. I'll have to know how to read the fuel gauge too.

I don't think my car idles bad but it does idle different after cams. What was yours doing exactly?

A big enough cam will reduce vacuum and make a car want to stall. Also, I would definitely check the trim on your BISS and injectors. They are probably all off, after all those new parts. Your tuner should know all this already.
True you can tune without a wideband in the car, but it serves as an extremely valuable tool for diagnosing problems. When a tuned car is running weird, the first question is usually "how are AFRs?".
By idle, I was referring to where you said you used to be able to let the clutch out at idle but now it wants to die. That shouldn't be happening.

thank you for all your help. Got intouch with the tuner and will be taking the car back to get it checked out. Meanwhile will be looking for some gauges, boost and afr gauge. Thinking about getting aem.

Mine boosts 28.5 on e85 tune. The power delivery is great compared to the 91 tune. The power seems to poop out on the top with 91. Where as e85 it pulls to the top hard. Kaj has a silly fast auto-x car.. On 91 his feels alot more spunky. I guess I will just have to $$ up and drive harder.

How do we know each other? Can't tell with screen names LOL. Thank you for the compliment. I have a ton of R&D into that thing already.

I got lucky. My car is built for road courses, it just happens to do decent at Auto-x. It's a lot of fun to drive either. We used e85 at Streets of Willow during the last Global Time Attack. Man, the car was FAST. I even took third in Limited.. I may have been grinning the whole time.

Now that it's our shop car, it will be evolving (no pun intended) into something hopefully much faster. Fingers crossed!
