350whp goal
How long are you wanting to stay at said 350hp? Everyone always wants more, so im not one to buy the same parts again and again. If youre not going to go over 350hp for a long time then i think all the advice given is great. Id also stay with the s1's and a smaller fuel system.

I've made the power in my sig on a 6spd. The car is used for autox and Time Attack. The 6spd isn't the slouch it's rumored to be, assuming it's taken care of. I only run e85 on GTA events, though. Just some extra info for you.
john "jestr" from titan motorsports is my tuner
If you have an 8 MR I believe any set of cams is an improvement over stock. If he has a 9 MR the stock cams can still produce good results with the Mivec. For the money spent on cams there are cheaper and better options to make power. I had no desire for cams but since I had to replace my headgasket it was a good time to upgrade to S1's and I'm more than happy having them as it was a nice improvement over stock. I hope that was helpful.

the S1 won't make any of your peak numbers look exciting, but if you want a car that pulls like an N/A V8 then you might want to give them further thought.
i'm 99% sure the S1s are even better. i think you would need to get pretty extreme to make 350whp on stock cams, though i have no experience with 92 oct. maybe someone else can chime in on that.
if you're worried about the cost:whp ratio, have you considered a used set? i buy all my cams used.
the best part of using cams, is that you get a bit more power any time you make any other mod (within reason).
sorry for the novel. just trying to help out with as much info as possible LOL

Or just scratch all these ideas and spend a few bucks on a fp green and make that super easy and be done. My buddies 9 made 308hp with literally a self made 3in exhaust and a tune at switzer when he used to tune evo's. Im sure with your supporting mods and the boost cranked up you'd be able to reach your goal for sure. Many ways to do it just have to decided how you want to go about it. Personally, id buy a green and get a tune. bolts on, easy install, no sweat!
If you are going to do cams go S2's or nothing. S1's are a waste of money in my opinion. There are countless threads out there where tuners did S1's vs S2's and they all say the same thing.... No loss in spool, only power gained up top. Why not have a cam that will give more HP and leave room in the future. The only downside, you need springs and retainers. If you plan to drag race or even rev the car a little, I would suggest them to be safe anyways
if OP plans on making more power in the future, then i'd suggest the S2 as well.
*edit the whp in my sig is on Greddy cams and a MAP 2.5. I have stock idle, vacuum, etc. No upgraded valvetrain and I pass smog with flying colors, if any of that is a concern for you.

because some drivers have other goals for their cars, such as increased, "useable" power. if OP's goal is 350whp, why not make power and torque sooner and still end up with the same peak HP? an S1-equipped car with 350whp will be faster than an S2 car with 350whp.
if OP plans on making more power in the future, then i'd suggest the S2 as well.

There have been numerous tests that state otherwise. S2's don't lose any power at all down low but add extra up top. I don't know about you but useable power is having a good rev range. On a stock turbo that is 4-7K all where S2's will outshine S1's and make more power.

Then again, it's possible Greg @ GSC doesn't know what he's talking about. :-P

Here are some dyno graphs to show what I mean-

There are plenty more threads showing the same statements and tuners who back up the claims.
