I was also out of there in a little over 2 hours - less than the 3 they told me. So maybe it helped?

 

Dealer is not going to turn you away for having aftermarket parts installed. Your airbag inflator module has no effect on your a pillar gauges, radio systems, etc. It's a warranty campaign and they are required by mitsubishi to replace it. Dealerships will let you know when you call on the phone to set up an appointment if you car is eligible by vin or not, while you are on the phone just run it by the service advisor that you have aftermarket parts installed. 99% of them will not care, they get paid by mitsubishi either way...

 

They wont turn you away but if you have wires ran through your dash that will need to be rewired you will get charged for it.
