Hello,
Can anyone tell me if an Evo 8 and an SRT4 can swap injectors? My buddy bought some 1200's for his SRT 4 and his tuner is telling him to get 1000's for now. I have 1000's and could use the 1200's for the time being to give me a little more head space.

Not likely, domestic vs import are different part numbers.

 

I think the srt4 are high impedence which will be a problem immediately unless you can tune in conjunction for it.

 

We are both running stand alone ECU. I am running an Autronic SMC 1.99 and he is running an AEM. I know my ECU can run high impedance injectors. Not sure about the AEM/SRT 4 running low however.

 

your best bet would be to call FIC But they could be a different size. The Evo X injectors are longer so they cant work on 8 and 9's!

 

So I called RC, because we both have RC injectors. I can use SRT 4 injectors if i send them to RC to have them cut down for $10 each. However SRT 4 can't use Evo 8 injectors because they are too small. Thanks for the replies
