Question About The JDM 180 Limit.

I herd a couple of people talking about the 180 limit on the JDM evo's same as my self i also have a limit of 180 but some of us dont want to waist money or dont have money so we try and find another way to brake the limit .. so searching on the web i see somone saying if u cut the Yellow line it will remove the limit is this true ?

There are a few ways to remove the speed limiter.
1. The above retune
2. Buy a SLD (HKS Speed Limit Defender)
3. Buy a tatrix cable and ecuflash then remove the limiter yourself.

I wouldnt cut any wires that go into the ecu just to save a few bucks.

All you need is a lap top and tactrix cable. Very cheap and able to be reversed if needed.

What its already been said, but ECUflash is your friend. Dont getto rig the car buy cutting wires.

For me the best solution is to buy a cable Tactrix and to use ECUFLASH.
You can use it for other things.
