Rust care and prevention

Hey,

My first post in the forum . I have an Evo 7 and would like to know which products should I use to treat small signs of rust as seen in the picture. (Hammerite anti rust, new engine oil, etc) And for those areas which do not have signs of rust should I use undripping material such as Dinitrol or Waxoil?

Many Thanks!

POR-15. This stuff sticks to rust and won't come off. It definitely stopped rust on my Civic.

Go to eastwood.com

They have a ton of rust treatment/preventative products that kick Por's and everyone else's butt. Easier to use and cheaper, in most cases, too.

I used them on an old rust bucket I had a few years back. Awesome stuff.

I use fish oil, over here you can get it in cans, it stinks but you wipe it on and it gets into the cracks and seems to seel up the rust and stops it from getting worse.

Will using sand paper to these rust spots, apllying ant-corrosion lubricants and spraying be a good idea? I am looking for a neat completed procedure using best products around, no matter what the cost is.
