Smile My Greddy gauges are working!!

After some problems, my gauges are working fine! I got the Greddy 52 mm electronic Boost and EGT gauges. The green lights look kind of neat and match the A/C and temp controls as well as the Alpine HU.....

You mean you cant multiply 14.5 by 1.4 when your about to redline in 4th dodging through cars blowin down the freeway?

Thanks, that's the Alpine 9813 HU. The mounting pod is a custom made unit. I was thinking about mass producing them but I have not had much luck in that...

Actually, all one needs to do is to remember where the equivalent bar reading to the max psi one needs to keep. I have my car running at 20-21 psi max, so I look for 1.45 bar.... The gauge is cleverly redlined at 1.5 bar or 21.76 psi, so that really works fine for my EVO. Besides, when your about to redline in 4th dodging through cars blowin down the freeway, you'd hardly have much time to even look at the boost gauge

I had posted something like this before.... The HU face plate is off and a plastic "stealth" cover is in it's place

For the record GReddy gauges aren't in bar... they in Kg/cm^2. Which 1 Kg/cm^2 = 14.22 PSI.

Anyways, love my GReddy gauges too

Only installation problems. The gauges are great I think I had a bad ground or power connection. Please recheck all your connections. You might want to try different sources for power and earth than those you are using right now....

You are absolutely right! I'm embarrased to admit that I did not pay attention to the gauges and just ignored the fact that 1 bar does not equal 1 Kg/cm^2

19 psi = 1.33 Kg/cm^2
20 psi = 1.40 Kg/cm^2
21 psi = 1.48 Kg/cm^2
22 psi = 1.55 Kg/cm^2
23 psi = 1.61 Kg/cm^2
