1.5 Ton HF Jack with Rexpeed Side Skirts?

I'm looking into getting a different jack than the one I currently have and am interested in the HF Aluminum "Racing" Jack 1.5 Ton

Along with an evo lowered modestly with GTWorx Springs but Rexpeed Side Skirts

and 3 Ton Jacks

Should I be OK with the 1.5 Jack and clearance of the Rexpeed sideskirts or should I get the long reach versing from HF?

You shouldn't be using a jack on the pinch welds anyhow

Lift from the front and rear jack points (front is behind the tow hook, rear is the rear diff)

I have the low profile 2-ton HF one and love it

Got both the alum HF track jack & the steel, low pro, long reach jack.

I use the long reach all the time at the home shop. Great jack

I got that same one off eBay a few years back. It still works ok but if I were to do it again I would get a higher quality one.

The jack settles right out of the box and it bent when lowering my car so it does not fully close. I only jack my car up on the front by the tow hook and the rear end pumpkin.

Since everything is made in China these days and not the best quality, I'd go with the two ton. Under the front you are lifting near a ton.

I have two of these and they have never failed. The 1.5ton aluminum racing jack is more than enough to lift the ends of an evo. I frequently use the jack every week. If your evo is too low with the rexpeed side skirt extension all you have to do is to put some 2x4s in front or back of the wheels and move forward or backward onto them. It raises the car up so you can get the jack underneath the jack point.
