being a good driver no accidents help .and older helps..

I have two Datsun 240zs (20k stated value each) for $200 a year each, 567 on the 06 Evo MR.

For wawanesa insurance...

I "daily" my truck (dodge diesel) liability only, full coverage on is300 and supra turbo.

100k/300k 300 dollar deductible deductiable fee waiver if non-fault claim..

Wawanesa pays out. Ive made 3 claims totaling about 14k past 15 years.

then i was denied. LOL

the reasons:
1. my daily driver is too old (2000 Honda Civic). it has to be no less than three years old, i believe they said
2. i drive the Evo too many miles. since i drive to/from the track, i shot a bit high and said i'd be driving 5,000 miles per year. they said they won't insure anything for more than 2500 miles per year.

i knew it sounded too good to be true LOL.

1. def not true... My other cars is a 94 supra, 01 is300 and my "daily" 99-00 dodge diesel truck. They pulling your chain cause u are prob high risk

2. I set mine at 5k and not a big deal Also got a quote for 57 bucks to get full coverage on my datsun 510 (5k stated value). Having seven cars helps

I guess times have changed. I talked to them the day I posted that. Count your blessings.
I dunno about high risk. 42yo, never had an accident or ticket, 22yrs driving experience. Car kept in a garage.

I pay 156 a month on my IX with full coverage and 5k of aftermarket parts coverage. I'm 24 years old in Oregon. I'd say that's pretty reasonable!

I did it!
I finally snagged myself my first Evo and insurance is:
$1,100 for 6 months- full coverage w/ Geico.
I've gotten a few quotes and they honestly varied widely..
State Farm/Esurance quoted me for a little over 2k.
All State wouldn't even touch this.

Now just to see how much my rate changes next renewal

But thanks again to all that shared!

Nice. Congratulations. Where you live makes such a difference on insurance and many other factors so checking yourself was the only way to know really.

I'm 25 and insured for full coverage for $715 a year for example. Evo is listed as pleasure vehicle and not primary ans I'm married and have a clean driving record. When adding homeowners insurance to my 3 car policy my policy got cheaper the multi policy discount on car insurance was so large by the way.

I'm 21 and I pay $118 Full Coverage too. (Clean Record) I'm from Cali as well. I'm listed as a driver under my parents and uncles car if not I would pay 365 or 460 can't recall which number it was. But regardless if I did i wouldn't be owning the Evo. I bought the car off a 28 year old who sold it because he couldn't afford to pay insurance anymore.

I am 22 and pay about ~$110/month full coverage - but I pay semi-annually.
I also pay about $68/month to insure my motorcycle full coverage.

Not sure why y'all are paying so much. I actually paid more money to insure my B5 S4, but that is probably because I was 18 when I bought it and the first vehicle I insured on my own policy.
