Insurance on a IX
Hopefully those incidences were when you were 18-20 and you have become a better driver since...
A lot of it has to do with where you live, how many miles you are allowed, and if you get a multi-car or policy discount. Then there is the amount of liabilty coverage you select, deductible, and etc.
I've gotten quotes from every major company there is. I can go through a broker for insurance from a for-profit by-night and save a ton, but no thanks.
My rates, with all my perks, is right in line with everyone else in my area.
This thread makes me hate life right now. I was at 230 a month for full coverage when I bought the car. Two separate times damage was caused by debris on the road and had to get it fixed. Car was involved in a hit and run and I haven't helped by getting a couple tickets. Now my insurance is higher than the car payment at a whopping 498 a month.
People paying over 100 need to seriously shop around. I do have all three of my cars and my renters insurance together and it brings it all down quite a bit too.

Yeah... But you can't really compare the Evo portion of your multi-policy coverage to a single-vehicle policy.
Yea I thought non-fault claims weren't supposed to be held against me, but when I received my new policy it listed all the claims as reason for the price jump. And the two tickets I had.
