Get 2 or 3 cans of carb cleaner, and clean your intake, throttle body,and [if you still have them] isc ,and egr valve and ports, and if you haven't recently done it, replace the fuel filter.

I always start with the basic when diagnosing issues so that I don't overlook something. If all checks out that I previously mentioned ok. I would then olm test the injectors and then perform a volume test for each injectors. Next............... R u saying because his buddys injectors work he doesn't need to check power,ground, and resistance? I'm a mastertech and I diagnose properly before I replace a part. I like to know why. Is all his injectors bad or just a few? I don't assume and guess.

To be honest sounds strange that his buddys car runs good on both. Im thinking if the mapping may have something to do with it. I would like to find out how this turns out so I can learn something new.

Funny thing about the map is, the car was tuned on the set of injectors that dont let the car run.
