My brother was a major force in getting me into the Evo craze...

 

Growing up in UK, seeing fat business men in evo's with 2 or 3 hot blondes. I have an evo and im not fat nor do i have 2 or 3 blondes but my ***** still feel bigger. I can't wait to get up in the morning to get back into my car and drive the most fun and joyful car ive ever driven.

 

WRC. I've been watching the WRC for as long as I can remember (back in the days of the Martini sponsorship).

Got bitten by the Gran Turismo bug. Got hooked by the WRC.........Playstation and the Speed Channel........need I say more

 

How about AWD/power/weight/4 seats/Brembo/Recaro/Momo/Enkei/cost/etc

 

Got bitten by my friends...they were pretty much all evo crazy (turbocharged...awd...relatively cheap...awesome handling...very decent dragging capabilities...etc...what more do you want?)

 

i've allways been into radio control cars and since alot of them are made in japan you could get them with evo bodys. ive wanted one for about 8 years

 

man..the evo was like a mythical car, people who knew about it were blessed, and people who drove it were gods..it started as a fantasy and obsession of mine just determined to find out the mythical car, and when i saw it just blew me away..it turned more into a need just to download everything related to it, then i found the GT series...those were nights of awesomely good and fun imsomniac, i was going to classes hooked on coffee, and i just watched the clock to get out go home and play!! man those days were fun..then i got my lancer, which resembled and looked a lot like the evo, so it was pretty cool pretending my car was an evo, and from then it has been my obsession of owning one, thats why im buying an evo 3!! but evos will always be part of my teenage years and of me growing up. i just love those cars so much and i will take an evo over any car ......................except a skyline..well thats another story

 

4G63 POWA! I had a 95 GST and loved it but was lookin to upgrade, and I couldnt have gotten a more perfect car.

 

They first caught my eye in Gran Turismo 1...then I moved to England and got to see them first hand. I was trying hard to save money for an Evo 6.5 Tommi Makinen edition but I just couldn't come close to the £26,000 they were asking. So when I heard they were going to be released in the states I swore to myself I would buy one. And of course I did!

BTW...I just loved the hooked up Evo's in the U.K., too bad I'm not there anymore to whup up on them with mine!
